Hi Jan,

In the editor you can't really see the video. You just have to trust that it's going to show up right when you view the page. You can click the preview button and you'll see the page as it will look when live. Another problem is that the editor in wordpress will actually change the embed code when you switch back to visual mode. I think I should do a complete post on this subject (mental note)...

Widgets can be tricky. What type of widget are you putting in? Are they text widgets or something else? I'll have a look at the theme and see if there's any reason it wouldn't work...

Hi Daniel,
I'm brand new to WordPress and just put up my first site last week. It's more of a CMS, but your video showed me a few more options when I put up some posts.

I did copy the code from YouTube for the few videos I have up and pasted them into the HTML mode for my post, but when I went to Visual mode a large blank yellow box shows up on my Edit Post page. Is this how the YouTube videos look in your Visual mode?

Also, I'm having trouble with my widgets. Just can't seem to get them to work. I'm using the Flexx Pro theme from iThemes, which I really like. I don't know if this is a theme problem or a WP 2.9 issue. Do you have any recommendations?

Thanks,
Jan
